The Classes

Monthly Tuition Rates

Tuition is based on the entire season (August-May) with an average of 35 classes per season. Tuition fees are divided amongst the course of 10 months with 10 monthly installments charged to the card on file on the first of each month. Tuition is non-refundable and is not based on students’ attendance in their classes.

We offer a sibling discount of 10% off additional children’s monthly tuition in the same family household.

There is a $50 registration fee charged per student per season. All registration fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

West Ga Dance Center offers 2 stage performances per season. Our Holiday Showcase in December and our End of Season Recital in May. 

A Holiday Showcase Fee of $150 is due October 1st, 2023 and covers the following . . .

-Theater Rental, Show Shirt, Leggings, and Hair Accessory

A Recital Fee of $200 is due March 1st, 2024 and includes the following . . .

-Theater Rental, Show Shirt, Participation Goody Bag (w/trophy), Professional Videography of all shows, Professional Photography of all shows

Costume fees for the Year-End Recital are $85 per costume ($90 for combo classes) and are due January 15th,  2024

There is a fee of $15 charged to the card on file for every class transfer or change request.

Studio Policies

Please read and review the following policies

Here at West Ga Dance we offer triple threat training for students ages 18 months – adults. Classes are divided by age, however some students can be placed in a higher level at the discretion of WGDC Staff ONLY. Please see level breakdowns below. 

For some classes, levels may be combined depending on the class size and/or technique abilities. 

We reserve the right to cancel classes with less than 5 students and change class instructors if and when needed. In the case of class cancellations, students will have the option to transfer to a different class without the  transfer fee being applied.

Please see Dress Code under the “About” section on our Website. If student consistently attends class without proper attire & shoes- The WGDC staff maintains the right to ask the student to sit down during class time without refund to the parent.  

All monthly tuition payments, registration fees, recital deposit, and recital balances will be auto-drafted to the card on file. You will be emailed a receipt after each transaction is auto-drafted to the email address on file. Tuition will automatically be debited using the card on file on the 1st of each month and is considered late if it is not paid by the 5th.  A late of $25 will be applied to all accounts with a balance past the 5th of each month.

A 30 day notice is required to withdraw from any of our classes. Please note, a withdrawal form must be submitted by the 15th of the month prior to the next tuition billing cycle. There is no refund for tuition already processed.

Dancer's Placement

Dancers are placed in age based levels and cannot be promoted to the next level without the consent of a WGDC Staff Member. Please see age based level breakdowns below.

Ages 18 months through 2.5 years

Ages 2.5 years through 3.5 years

Ages 3.5 years through 4 years

Ages 5 years through 6 years

Ages 7 years through 9 years

*if child is 9 years, WGDC Staff will decide if dancer is ready to move up or stay in this level

Ages 9 years through 11 years

Ages 12 years through 18 years

Ages 12 years through 18 years

*this level is by placement only
